One of only a dozen octagon inns in the country, the guesthouse is centrally located in South Otselic, and is listed in the National Registry of Historic places as part of the historic District of South Otselic. It is also listed in several publications on octagons houses. It has a large master bedroom and two smaller room that share a guest sitting room and bathroom. This is ideal for a couple or small family or group of friends. Reservations are for only one grouping at a time to create a private, familial setting. Guestrooms are furnished with period art and decor as well as work from local artists, including the innkeeper. Fresh flowers from the garden grace each room. The sitting room has an "Amish fireplace" that guests can enjoy any season. There is also a coffee, tea and cocoa are available in the guest's sitting room. A list of over 150 movies is available for viewing. Guests also enjoy the use of the large wrap-around porch, and a large yard. A candle light breakfast is served in the host's private sitting room.
