An idyllic setting, the house is situated just north of Rothbury, in the village of Netherton, between Thropton and Alwinton, on the edge of the National Forest and close to the 68 Pennine Walking and Cycle route. Alnwick is less than a half hours drive away as are most of the other popular sites.

Guests’ are accommodated in a double, twin or family room with either en suite or private bathroom. All bathrooms have baths and showering facilities. All the rooms have colour TV with VCR/DVD, a well stocked hospitality tray and personal toiletries. We have paid a lot of attention towards the comfort of our guests. A guests’ lounge is also available with a large stock of books, and Sky television.
Guests are welcomed with a pot of tea or coffee and homemade cake or scones. Jess, our beloved companion, likes to act as the butler, insisting on being first to greet guests with an overwhelming exuberance and thereafter treats all as family.
