In Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, China Doll offers three complete self-contained apartment suites with private entrances. The one-bedroom garden apartment is a romantic getaway with exposed brick walls. The second floor two-bedroom unit offers high ceilings, and a private 12 X 20 foot deck. The first floor two-bedroom unit has a commercial grade indoor grill in its decorator kitchen. All have fireplaces, two person Jacuzzis, steam rooms, and gourmet kitchens. Unlike a Bed & Breakfast, there are no shared facilities.
Designed as corporate apartments, the in unit office areas include a computer with MS Office, high-speed cable Internet access, scanner, black and white laser printer, photocopier, CD writer, and fax machine. The garden unit conference room seats four and is equipped with an overhead projector and a wall-mounted television. Full color laser printing is available.
We also tend to your personal comfort. Each unit has a private two-person Jacuzzi and steam room (robes, slippers, and aromatherapy oils provided). Entertainment consisting of premium cable TV, VCR/DVD with a library of movies, stereo, and CD player can be enjoyed either in front of the fireplace or in bed (2nd floor has a fireplace in the bedroom). During nice weather enjoy the deck and private garden.
For breakfast, help yourself to the variety of coffees, teas, juices, muffins, bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, cream cheese, and other fixings. We will stock the kitchen with any specially requested breakfast items.
Other amenities include washer and dryer, built in ironing board, and shoe shining equipment. For your trips to the beach, Grant Park, or Ravina concerts, we provide chairs, wheeled cooler, umbrella, and towels. Baby equipment provided.
The neighborhood offers a broad range of restaurants, theaters, bars, and live music. Kingston Mines, Chicago Blue, Briar Street Theater, Wrigley Field, Lincoln Park, Lake Michigan, and the beach are within walking distance.

We will stock the kitchen with any requested and generally recognized breakfast food. What we will not do is cook. Vegetarian and organic food requests will be honored. Even though I personally consider cold pizza to be a breakfast food, I do draw the line at cold pizza. If you want cold pizza, you will have to order it the night before. If you plan to cook it, we will be pleased to stock eggs, bacon, sausage, pancake mix, ready to bake pastry, potatoes for hash browns, or anything else you request. Without a special request, the standard fare includes several types of cereal, several juices, yogurt, fresh fruit, English muffins, bagels, muffins, croissants, coffee, tea, cream cheese, butter, margarine, several flavors of jam.

Extra guests are $20/night/adult and $10/night/child under 12 and under.
A one time $100 weekend surcharge is applied for stays that include a Friday or Saturday night. This fee is waved for stays of 7 days or more.
Pets are welcome. The pet surcharge is $10/night/pet.
The 11.9% hotel tax is not included in pricing.
There is a 2 night minimum stay any time, a 3 night minimum stay on a holiday weekend, and a 4 night minimum stay for Memorial Day, Labor Day, Marathon Weekend, and Thanksgiving.
