Ralph Waldo Emerson called the Inn “Thy proper summer home.” Today’s guests enjoy the relaxed 19th century atmosphere from our broad oceanfront veranda, but can savor the 21st century amenities of a heated saltwater pool, room phones, air conditioning, television, and private bath. Nearby are hiking trails along the oceanfront, tennis, golf and the always popular whale watches. Halibut Point State Park features the history of the Rockport Quarries and downtown Rockport is famous for shops and art galleries.
