Mendocino Farmhouse is nestled in a private forest setting just minutes from the village of Mendocino, surrounded by beautiful gardens with open meadows and a pond. The farmhouse is filled with comfortable antique furnishings, wallpapered rooms, flowers and an eclectic collection of books and music. These four rooms have private baths and some have fireplaces. The barn cottage, located across from the farmhouse features two rooms, each with private baths and stone fireplaces in a separate sitting area. Each room has its own private entrance. After you have spent a very restful night's sleep in one of our comfortable rooms you will wake up to a hearty farmhouse breakfast.

We like to start your day with a hearty breakfast and are mindful of any dietary requests in advance. Our menus vary every morning and feature fresh fruit in season including fresh berries (raspberries, strawberries, blackberries) from our garden. A typical breakfast will start with our great coffee, hot cocoa, or tea, followed by fresh fruit and juice. The entree will be one of several that change every day. Pesto eggs with herbs, tomato slices and a croissant are a particular favorite of many of our guests. Also our orange whole wheat pancakes served with sausage or ham is a menu that former guests always ask for when they arrive for breakfast.

Most weekends and holidays we have two or three night minimums. HOWEVER, if we haven't booked for two nights on the weekends by Friday afternoon, prior to the weekend, we can take a Saturday night only. Give us a call!! 1-800-475-1536.
Rooms are held 5 days pending receipt of your deposit in the amount of one night's rate or charged to your credit card at the time of reservation.
In case of cancellation your deposit is refunded (less a $15.00 processing fee on credit card reservations) if we are notified seven days before arrival or if we are able to re-rent the room.
