Charlestown restaurants are in walking vicinity and a variety of fare can be had within a 20 minute drive. There are several stores close by and a historic district that consists over 60 buildings
Fort at No 4 is a major attraction just north of the village, and re-enactments are performed there over half a dozen weekends over each summer and fall. Several antique shops are in the area, and the Connecticut River provides boating and fishing enthusiasts, a great spot to enjoy.
Your bountiful breakfastst with international flavors will be served in the newly redecorated dining room, and there are two living rooms for the guests to enjoy. A wide selection of books, magazines and CD's can be chosen from, and the porch is a great place to sit and read a book or newspaper, or just to talk with your hosts or other guests. Between 5 and 6 pm all guests are invited to the hospitality hour where refreshments are served and Dutch and new England cheeses can be sampled.
The morning breakfast is one of the highlights of your stay. Juices, tea and coffee is available and a variety of breads, muffins and always a hot dish, which varies from day to day. There never is a rush to get up from the table and the coffee keeps coming!

During peak season, typically weekends in June, July and October 2 night minimum stay. A reservation can be made by providing a Visa or MC number, or sending a check for one night deposit. Cancellations within one week, result in one nights charge, unless room can be rented over the week
