Chamomile has been an essential part of any herb garden for centuries. It is used for its soothing and calming properties and a cup of chamomile tea is often recommended to help ensure a good night's sleep. Our guests often comment that they have had one of the best night's sleep they can remember.
When you arrive we suggest you sit on the wide shady verandah overlooking our beautiful garden. Destress as you listen to the sound of the waterfall and the ever-present bird calls as you enjoy our complimentary afternoon tea, with your choice of Twinnings tea or perhaps a latte or cappuccino, and a piece of our famous Mary River Mud Cake.
The Rose Retreat is truly a place for you to rest and relax. This light and airy room is decorated in restful shades of pink, cream and green. The rose theme is echoed in the traditional feature tiles in the en-suite and the lovely quilt and linen. Settle down in the white wicker rocking chairs to read a book,listen to a CD from the selection we have provided for you or perhaps you would rather watch one of the classic DVDs.
The Heartsease Room is decorated in romantic and restful shades of blue and pink with white furniture and a Queen Bed, making it the perfect place for a couple to relax.The cast iron bed with roses looped over the bed-head recalls a less stressful era, while the candlelit shadows and and rose scented sheets help to prepare you for a deep and restful sleep.
The Lemon Balm room is decorated in fresh shades of green and lemon, reminiscent of the lemon balm herb. The beautiful white, cast iron king single beds mean that you have plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

Out breakfasts are not just delicious and hearty but also healthy. We use fresh eggs from our hens who are fed certified organic food and also our own fresh organically grown tomatoes and herbs.
If you are a coeliac (gluten intolerant) you will enjoy a breakfast that does not have a rice cracker in sight! We also make a gluten free version of our Mary River Mud Cake for those who need it.

Deposit & Cancellation Info:
A deposit of 50% of the total tariff is required with the balance paid on arrival. The deposit is refundable if the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours before arrival. If the booking is for long weekends, Easter, or Dec/Jan the deposit is refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 30 days before arrival.
