Exotic themed rooms named Egypt, Safari, Summerville, Key West, China etc. Completely restored/reincarnated in 1996, the Inn still maintains its authentic bones. Built as a private home in the late 1800's, this Victorian home hearkens to a more gracious era with its heart of pine planked floors and gracious staircase. In keeping with traditional southern hospitality, overnight guests enjoy a full gourmet breakfast served every morning with sunshine and pleasant conversation with interesting guests who come from all over the world. We love it when guests are awakened by the tantalizing aromas and are drawn into the kitchen for that first cup of coffee. Our beautiful guest rooms are exceptionally clean with private baths and verandahs and decorated with authentic period pieces and original art. With our wonderful verandahs and porch swing that whisper, "Slow down", "Relax", there are no shortage of romantic hide-aways. There is a fine line between being friendly and knowing when to give guests their own space and we manage to balance that perfectly. We are located in the walking historic district on a quiet street away from busy traffic noise close to a pleasing assortment of shops, galleries, antiques stores and dining establishments. Ample on-site parking.
