Built in 1889, the house was designed for former Chattanooga Mayor Edmond G.
Watkins and still retains its air of sophistication and grandeur to this
day. Stepping onto the large wrap around patio, one is met by a beautifully
maintained grand entrance of dark hardwood and beveled leaded glass. Upon
entering, you will immediately feel the stresses of the outside world fall
away as you are welcomed home by our staff of innkeepers. Enjoy a quiet
afternoon relaxing in the Mayor's Library and awake refreshed invigorated
after a restful night's sleep to a 3 course gourmet breakfast served in our
Tiffany Dining Room.
