A tranquil retreat set in a beautiful country area, with just one double/twin room, pool, BBQ, and a large garden. We are within easy reach of beautiful Portofino, with it's exclusive designer shops, and the lovely seaside resorts of Rapallo, and Santa Margherita Ligure. In the other direction, are the five villages of the "Cinque Terre", famous for the wonderful panoramic walks, and also for their delicious wine. Genoa, which is the main town of the area is 1 hour by car, it has a wonderful Medioeval centre with narrow twisting streets and excellent museums. Going further afield, Lucca and Pisa are of course, worth a visit, both Florence and France are approximately a 2 hour drive, and either can be visited in a day. There are many excellent restaurants from simple trattorias, where you can sample typical dishes from the area, to very sophisticated restaurants.
