The houses you stay in are two different and separate guest houses on our property, about 50 meters through the woods from the main residence where we live. They are about ten meters from each other, joined by a trellis. There is a large sitting room with a fireplace, and a kitchen in each of the two separate houses you would have to yourself if you reserved one. Each is filled with books and antiques. A patio and the swimming pool are just outside. You get the feeling you are miles from civilization, yet you are only fifteen to twenty minutes from Charlottesville, UVa, Monticello, and the local airport (CHO). We are 15 minutes from Charlottesville, twenty minutes from UVA, twenty minutes from Monticello, fifteen minutes from the Charlottesville airport, and twenty minutres from Montpelier. We are 6 miles NE of Charlottesville as the crow flies.
