Northwood Cottage is ideally located in North Dorset, a relaxing beautiful farming area - which is considered a premier tourist destination in England. Being in North Dorset both the seaside such as the Jurassic coast and world famous attractions like Bath, Stonehenge, and Salisbury are within easy reach without having to stay in the crowded areas. There are over 180 attractions to visit within an hour’s drive. These range from castles and cathedrals to gardens and man-made attractions. This charming house was built about 1850 and situated on the outskirts of Manston, a peaceful and relaxing rural village. The house has been modernised internally to provide extensive modern amenities to a 4 star standard (for self-catering and 4 star with a SILVER Award for B&B). The garden is large with beautiful views and a children’s play area as well as BBQ and a patio.
There are 2 cottages - Daisy with 2 double and 2 single ensuite bedrooms (and Bluebell with 1 double – and private bathroom, and one ensuite twin) all bedrooms with 21” TV and ironing facilities. The cosy guest sitting rooms have an open fire or LPG log effect gas fire and large TV’s with DVD/VCD/CD player, there is an open plan dining area and for self-catering a fully equipped kitchen (which includes cooking hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave).
A shared laundry (with washer, dryer and ironing facilities) is available for a small charge. The whole area is centrally heated and each room has individual controls. The owner can provide set evening meals with prior notice. There is ample off road parking. Linen and toiletries are provided. The whole area is NON-smoking.

Minimum stay is normally 2 nights. For bed and breakfast we need the first night as a deposit. For self catering (you get the whole cottage and do your own catering) we need 25% when booking and the balance 6 weeks before arrival. We accept most credit cards.
