Geoff and I love to travel, both in Australia and overseas. When we are on holiday we expect comfortable beds, a choice of doonas or cotton blankets and good pillows. We like being able to cook a quick meal with local produce, send emails or do our own laundry without wasting time in laundromats.
We saw an opportunity to renovate some apartments with great views in the fabulous tourist suburb of Fremantle and turn them into luxury self contained holiday apartments.
Cloistered in the award winning "Old Tannery" conversion in the heart of Fremantle are our stunning studio apartments. These distinctive, architecturally designed and thoughtfully provisioned mezzanine apartments will capture your heart and ensure your stay is truly memorable.
The bedroom located in the mezzanine has a beautiful balcony complete with day bed - push back the bi-fold doors and relax in your private world,. Watch the sunsets over fishing boat harbour with a glass of your favourite Western Australian wine or if you feel like company, try a barbeque on our wonderful communal deck area - complete with Koi pond and waterwalls.
Our apartments have been furnished with your comfort in mind, soft neutral décor, original Aboriginal artwork and Scandinavian antiques. The bedroom has a king sized bed (or twin singles) with sumptuous wool and cotton bedding. For our guests who enjoy cooking or simply want the convenience of making tea and coffee, the gourmet kitchens are equipped with lots of extras including, citrus juicers and coffee plungers. There is also a double fold down for extra guests.
The generous bathrooms have a spa, fluffy white towels, hair dryers and fragrant organic shower gel. Of course each apartment has a full laundry including washer, dryer and ironing board.
